In the 1960s, the first steps were taken in the production of tufted carpets of wool and wool blends. These products were very popular until the mid 1980’s, when demand for them drastically reduced.
At that time, the company which had already run through the third generation of Timmerman, had set a new production profile. Wim Timmerman soon discovered the future possible market demand for 100% polypropylene floor coverings.
Step by step, within 10 years, production has been perfected to achieve the ultimate goal.
